Science Museum of Delft

On one of the days that we didn't have scuba we went to the Delft University Science Museum. It was really cool - everything was interactive.

A solar car made by the students - it won a race against other ones.

San Francisco Science Museum

We went to the newish science museum of San Francisco. It was really fun.
There was an aquarium and there was a jungle section.
We saw a white alligator!

That's one big butt!

The ice cube

For lunch we ate at a cool place shaped as an ice cube.  The food itself was kinda strange - the man who ran it just warmed up frozen food in a microwave!!

The future of the carousel....

These are fittings of a new carousel that is more than one floor high and has the theme....
The Sea.
It is hoped to be done in the next few years.
All of the figures can be moved from the inside by the riders. Really cool!

The model of the carosel

The fan blows on the boat and it shakes and it feels like you're really on a boat at sea

Metallic Tree

Connected to the outside of the building was a metallic tree - very big, only a few branches of the final hope...

Wooden Elephant

Did they get this from Moulin Rouge or did Moulin Rouge get their ultra big elephant from them?? Well - this elephant is way cooler - it moves and blows mist from it's trunk and walks and makes noises and everything!!
So COOL! You could pay extra and take a ride on the elephant, but there wasn't much point. I think it was cooler to see it than be on it.
