Bloemen Parade

On Saturday the 24th we joined some of our friends and went to Noordwijk to see a flower parade. The floats were all really pretty. There were also loads of cars that had flowers on them.

Exams!!

To the tune of 'It's the most wonderful time of the year'
'It's the most horrible time, of the year.
All the teachers are bossy,
The test papers glossy,
Oh my, oh dear!
It's the most horrible time, when exams are here!!'

So far, they haven't been too bad. Today I have a DT (Design Technology) exam and a music exam.
Wish me luck!!!

You are rocking!

Above the trees, you may be able to see a small blue speck. That is Ashlynn!

After we had all climbed the first rock two times we went to another place. It was much higher up, but we didn't climb that much further. It was really fun! The rocks were both so different, but I found that they were both the same difficulty. I hope that we will be able to go real rock climbing again soon.

Let's Rock!

While we were in Ronda we found out that our trip to Morocco, which was scheduled on Friday, had to be changed to Thursday. This came as a little problem, Daddy was going to take Ashlynn and I to go rock climbing on Thursday. He managed to change the date, so after having around 6 hours of sleep (we had the long boat ride the night before), we got up to go rock climbing on real rocks.

We met our instructor. She was really funny. We followed her up some off road tracks and then walked to the rock that we would be climbing. It was protected from the wind, which was very good. I started with the instructor helping me, telling me where to go. It was really fun!

The too long boat ride

As we were hoping that the 55 minute boat ride would not be canceled, we were told that it was. We would have to take the long boat ride. The annoying thing was that they didn't go back to the same port. We had our car parked at the 55 minute port, so Daddy and Mr. John would have to go in a taxi and pick up our cars, then drive back and pick us up. ANNOYING!

Beautiful Sunset over Tangier
Anyway...we eventually boarded the boat, but we sat there for at least an hour before it got going. That was at 10 at night! Once the boat had got going we ate some horrible tuna sandwiches and a magnium. Then David and I listened to Harry Potter 6 on his iPod. We all fell asleep. I woke up because of the crashing. It sounded like we had crashed. It really was just doors slamming and things rolling about. Again...Annoying! By the time we arrived in Spain it was 1:30 (with the time difference). By the time we got home, it was almost 3. We were so tired. David and Andrew got back at 4. (Daddy drove a lot faster than Mr. John)

Filming in Morocco

We had a little time before we had to head back to the boat so we asked our tour guide if we could film a bit of our film. He said we could, so we got Mommy to film the kiddies catching the baddies and getting the iPods back. It was fun.
At lunch we found out that the 55 minute boat might be canceled because of the wind. That would NOT be good. We would have to take the more than an hour ferry on rough seas... :(
We were dropped off at a hotel near the harbor and it was there that we filmed the last scene. The photo below is of Daddy filming us.
