Wild Life Photography

A while ago Mommy and Ashlynn were on their way to school when they saw a bird. They were going through a forest, absolutely beautiful and on the path there was a falcon! In Holland!!
Mommy played the photographer and took loads of photos. Here they are.

Glow Golf

On Ashlynn's real birthday we went into Den Haag. Our first idea was to have a sushi lunch then go see a movie, but there weren't any good movies playing. Then we decided to go eat-all-you-can-eat sushi and then go play mini golf - inside! The sushi was great and Ashlynn and I out ate Mommy and Daddy. Yummy!!
In Scheveningen there is an awesome mini golf course. Everything was florescent. It was so cool. The theme was pirates and under the sea. If we had known we would have worn white clothes, but we weren't prepared and were all wearing fairly dark clothes. Oh well. It was really fun.

Ashlynn's B-Day Party

On the day before Ashlynn's real birthday, the 16th of May, we had a birthday party at our house. Ashlynn had invited some of her friends and David and Andrew came along too. In total there were 11 kids and 11 adults. I had CYM, (Center for Young Musicians) so I didn't get back to the house till around 5:30. All of Ashlynn's friends were there and although David, Andrew and I tried to set up a frisbee game in the nearby park, it didn't really work out that well. Dinner was a bar-b-que. Ashlynn had made Ice - Cream cake for desert. It was sooooo good.

Hedgehogs are Back!

As you already know, the hedgehogs are back. We set up Hedge - Alert and were surprised that they came back on the first night that we'd put peanut butter out. The first Hedgehog we saw was Hedgy. He's grown (I think). Ashlynn and I each had a friend over for the night and so they got to pet Hedgy. He's so cute.

Every night I put out the peanut butter (we decided that they don't really like bread) and set up Hedge - Alert. In the morning we see if any have come. Usually there are at least 2 or 3 visits per night. WE LOVE OUR HEDGEHOGS!

Garden = Farm

Our Garden was turned into a little farm a little while ago. On Wednesday night we saw our first hedgehog!! It was Hedgy! We have turned on Hedge Alert. To find out more about our hedgehogs go to www.hedgealert.blogspot.com. We also had a duck couple staying in our yard! I hoped that they made a nest nearby.

As well as that we have a bunny living nearby. She doesn't look wild; she is well groomed. Having hedgehogs is a good thing (they eat slugs), but having a bunny is not so great. She is digging in our garden, she dug up some of our mint and ate one of our radishes! Oh well.

Red Dress Hash

Once again we did the red dress run with the Hash, where we run through the center of town and act like complete bozozs. This year a couple got interviewed on the Dutch TV. Funny!!

Prize Giving

The night after Shakespeare Shorts was another late night for Ashlynn and I. It was the Year 8, 9, and 10 Prize Giving. I had won an award for 'Outstanding Achievements' . It was quite a nice ceremony and the guest speaker was funny. I won a Thesaurus!!? (A bit weird eh?) It's a coincidence because David got the same prize as I did, except for he got it for Y9. Well, anyway. The exams are mostly over. I only have my French writing to do. I got good marks for every thing - Outstanding Achievements!!?
