Raindrops on Roses

We came across a really big public garden with lots of roses. Great place for photos! 

Vrai Vienna

We wandered around the center of Vienna after that. We mostly stayed on the shopping streets. We ate lunch at an Italian restaurant then continued to walk. There was an orchestra playing in one of the squares and we stopped to listen for awhile. The conductor looked really happy. We listened for awhile then kept on walking. We passed another concert going on, but this one was rock. 

p.s. Vrai is true in French!! :)

Awesome Marionette

 After the church a group of people drew our attention. We went over and saw a man with a Marionette. It was so cool. He made the puppet play the piano and when ever someone put money in the case he made the piano-playing puppet stick it's eyes out!!

Then he asked a little boy to come and sit next to the puppet. It was really funny! The kid was the same size as the puppet!

The top of Vienna

We got up around 5 to catch a bus to the airport to get a plane to Vienna, Austria. When we got there we went to our hotel and took a nap. When we woke up it was thundering and pouring! We waited then went to the center. We went in the cathedral and took an elevator up to the top of the steeple.

Off to Amsterdam

School ended on the Friday the 28th. Okay, it didn't end, we got out for holiday. Daddy was away on a business trip so Mommy planned for us girls to go to Austria with one of her friends, Betsy. Betsy lives in Amsterdam and because we had such an early flight the next day we decided that it would be best to stay with her. Her apartment is AMAZING! It's like a penthouse. There are two floors, it's probably bigger than our house!

We got to Amsterdam and went to the same museum that I had gone to during my school trip in Amsterdam, the Tropen Museum. It was fun to show Ashlynn and Mommy around.
