Oranje Oranje Everywhere!

After the triathlon Terri organized a dinner at a Italian Restaurant in the nearby town of Voorschoten. On the way with our bikes there we passed a street covered in orange flags. Getting ready for the world cup. Here in Holland nearly everyone finds a way to celebrate. HUP HOLLAND HUP!

In total there were 4 people on the podium from our school.

In my category - girls under 14 - I came 5th with a time of 58minutes and 31 seconds. 

David had a time of 45 minutes and 50 seconds.

What's really annoying is that if I had been participating in the above 14 I would have come 3rd.

Oh well, next time!

Here I am getting ready to jump off my bike. 

1st place in the Blue Heat.....

Guess who came first in the blue heat...? David! Ashlynn says that he came back from the bike way ahead of everybody - even though he didn't come out of the water first.

Here I am setting off on the 14km bike ride. It was pretty fun. I was riding pretty close to one of the other kids from training - also called David! We even passed some people from the blue heat!
