The Rest of England

I'm truly sorry that I haven't posted in a while, but I'm hoping now to get up to date. Here's the rest of England.

London, at King's Cross Station. Because of construction, the Platform 9 and 3/4's from JK Rowling's Harry Potter was not as amazing as I could remember.

Funny art in London

Lunch at an amazing indoor market. Ashlynn made a face out of a take away box and fell in love with it, insisting on carrying it around for the rest of the day!

In the ferry. Because we were in a room for only 3 people, we got a big window!

Nature Park

We went to a nature park / zoo thingy. It was a little bit childish, but I had a nice time going around with one of Freya's cousins - Freddy and helping him with the quiz. The main event was watching the lynx jump up and try to get a rabbit. The first jump he managed to completely decapitate it.

Jack and The Beanstalk Panto

After visiting Naomi, we traveled down to Kent to visit Camille, Tristrim, Freya and Beatrice. Camille's brother wrote a pantomine, Jack and the Beanstalk. We went to see it on it's opening night. It was amazing! So funny!

The Walk to the Castle

Our first day we drove out of Aberdeen and towards the coast. Then we walked in the mist and rain, along the top of the cliffs to a castle. Sometimes it was really scary, the wind was trying to blow us off the side of the cliff. Good thing we had it in our faces, or we would really have been blown off our feet!

Cluck Cluck Cluck

Naomi

We arrived in Aberdeen, Scotland and got picked up by one of Ashlynn's friends that she'd met in Holland, but had moved last year.
Her brothers Alex and Patrick were asleep when we got in and so where the 3 chickens that they owned. But in the morning, we went down and Naomi taught us how to hold the chickens.

Piano at the Airport

The new departure hall in Schipol Airport was amazing. There were books to read in multiple languages, iPads with information about Holland, really cool chairs and even a grand piano for people to play.
I got to play on it!!!

p.s. We were in the airport on the 19th on our way to Scotland!
