EuroHash 2011

Only a few days after the annual Red Dress Run, Holland hosted the EuroHash in a castle/hostel. The venue was great, complete with 10 bars with free flowing beer (and soda) and massive fields for us to play on. Saturday night was party night! The theme - Zulu Warriors! Madly the band performed and I danced the whole night away!

A day full of Orange

When you're owned by a country that celebrates the Queen's birthday, you celebrate too. When you become an independent colony, why bother giving up the holiday? So we were lucky to spend Koniningdag in Curacao. Although not exactly what we were expecting, there was a whole lot of orange and lots of things to buy in the center of town.

Sands of the Caribbean

While on the motorbike, Daddy saw a great place near to our resort to go urbexing! Looking at it from the outside we thought it was a hotel that had never been completed, or that had been abandoned. When we got in however, there was a completely different story. We found out that the building had been used as the headquarters for an online internet casino!

Motorbiking!

While Mommy and I had been walking around in the center of town, Ashlynn and Daddy rented a motor bike and took a long ride to an ostrich farm. Ashlynn got bit by an ostrich as well as feeding them from her hand.

Dress Shopping...

While walking around Curacao I joked about trying to find a dress for the Bye Bye Blues (the end of year 9 disco) and we walked into multiple stores, but none of them had what we wanted. We finally saw a cocktail dress store and we went in. I found two dresses that I really liked.....here they are....

I liked the blue dress better, but one of the straps was broken so I got the red one for a bargain of 28 euros!

Cruising around the center!

Although Ashlynn didn't want to go, Mommy and I had a great time walking around the town center.

Picturesque waterfront

Such an awesome infinity pool on a man made beach

This bridge is so cool, it swings completely to the side so that boats can go through. To get across when it's open you have to take a ferry!

Epic sign for the ferry!
