Fun in California
We had a nice big dinner one night with Auntie Leigh Leigh and Uncle Mike and Lenny. Very yummy salmon!
Funny bandages that look like BACON! In the right corner you can see - BACON SOAP!
My friends think that it's hilarious, but I think it's kind of disgusting! Can you imagine washing your hands with pig fat? EEW!

Rescue Breathing
So you thought those other dolls were kind of scary, well take a look at these ones! These are the ones we did rescue breathing on. To pass we had to do 2 minutes of rescue breathing. I have to say, that by the end I was feeling kind of dizzy.
But Ashlynn and I both passed. So now we are certified babysitters!

Babysitting Class at the Red Cross
Off to AMERICA!!!
First stop: California to stay with Grandpa and Grandma.
Because the school doesn't offer a babysitting course, and I wanted to babysit some fun Dutch kids, I decided I wanted to do a Red Cross Baby sitting Course in California. Ashlynn wanted to do it too, even though she's a bit young to be babysitting. We got to the Red Cross Center and had our class which included stuff like:
How to hold a baby/toddler
How to feed a baby/toddler
How to change a diaper
How to do rescue breathing
How to check for injury
ect
ect.... :)
| Each student got a Babysitter's Pack which included 2 books and a first aid kit |
| Really creepy baby dolls! |

p.s. Sorry I haven't posted in like FOREVER!

Goodbye Poole!
Over 120 Children from the British School in the Netherlands Make a Splash at Rockley!

The beginning of July saw 122 kids and 14 teachers from The British School in the Netherlands (BSN) take to the water at their flagship centre , Rockley Point in Poole.
BSN have been bringing over 100 children aged 14 years to Rockley annually for the past 30 years to enjoy a week of activities on and off the water. The school provides a British education for approximately 1500 students of different nationalities from ages 3-19 years.
The children enjoyed four days of RYA sailing and the final day was spent canoeing and powerboating. During the evenings a variety of activities were planned including an offshore fishing trip, a trip to the local waterflume park at Splashdown, an evening of bowling and a trip to the cinema.
The children and teachers were enthusiastic as ever and Rockley are already looking forward to next year's trip!
Thank you Rockley! I had a lot of fun!

Disco!
We all hurried back to the caravan so we could get ready to go to the disco. Guess where it was? In a church. That just seems like a strange place to have a disco. With the graves outside.....and all that. But it was really fun all the same. In fact, it was too short. Kelly and I did a karaoke of I will Survive. Good times, good times. :)
